Mat Alexander
Founder & Director
With experience in the industry for over 20 years, Mat is Watercare approved, is certified for Backflow Prevention in Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty, and has his National Certificate in Roofing. Mat is recognised as a Certifying Plumber, Gasfitter and Drainlayer leading him to be a member of the Master Plumbers and holding a position on the Industry Advisory Board. He was awarded with the Merit of Excellence in 2010 in recognition of his expansive skillset in the industry.

Eleisha Iggo
Chief Operations Officer
Eleisha is the Chief Operating Officer at Plumbuilt, overseeing operations across the company’s many branches. She began her career in the construction industry in 2018 when she joined Plumbuilt Plumbing, all while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing. With a solid foundation in finance, Eleisha has played a key role in multiple areas of the business, including managing the company’s accounts and driving operational improvements. Known for her love of a challenge, she is constantly seeking opportunities to grow her skills and expand her knowledge. Outside of work, Eleisha enjoys early morning walks, a good book, and staying active through fitness.

Victoria Taylor
HR & Payroll
With a strong attention to detail and a people-focused approach, Victoria assists with payroll administration, employee records, onboarding, and day-to-day HR. She enjoys helping create positive workplace experiences and contributing to the smooth operation of our team.
Victoria is committed to providing reliable support while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Alan Runga
Site Supervisor
Al is Site Supervisor for the Bay of Plenty, Waikato regions. With a sharp eye for detail and a dedication to excellence, Al approaches every project with a sense of pride. Known for his willingness to lend a hand and his proactive approach, Alan ensures that all tasks are managed efficiently and completed to the highest standard.

Blair CAMeron
Site Supervisor
With over 20 years of experience in the plumbing and drainlaying industry, Blair brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to every project. He has a strong passion for the more technical and large-scale aspects of the trade, where problem-solving and precision are key. Known for his high standards of workmanship and commitment to quality, Blair takes pride in delivering reliable, efficient solutions and consistent results on every project.

Clare Elston
Project Administrator
Clare brings a strong foundation in customer service and project coordination, making her an integral part of the team’s day-to-day operations. She manages project administration, and ensures seamless communication between our clients and internal teams.
Dedicated to continuous growth, Clare is currently training in quoting and gaining experience with documentation for larger, more complex projects. She is also working towards her project management certification, further enhancing her ability to support the team and contribute to successful project delivery.

Max Airey
Quantity Surveyor
Max brings a diverse trade and estimating background to the Plumbuilt team, combining practical experience with strong commercial knowledge. Originally an Offset Printer, turned Estimator in the printing industry, Max later became a Carpenter, developing a sharp eye for detail and cost management.
Outside of work, Max enjoys playing and coaching senior-grade football, where he values teamwork, leadership, and building strong relationships. Having grown up in the Bay of Plenty, he enjoys being part of the local community and bringing that same team-focused approach to his work at Plumbuilt.

Jesse Poor
Maintenance Division Manager
Jesse leads our Bay of Plenty Maintenance Division with a strong focus on delivering reliable, high-quality service to homes and businesses across the Bay of Plenty region. With extensive industry experience and a practical, solutions-focused approach, Jesse is committed to ensuring every job is completed efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standard.
Known for his approachable nature and attention to detail, Jesse works closely with both customers and his team to provide prompt, effective plumbing maintenance solutions.

Office Support Lead and Health & Safety Officer
Monique plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and support of our team both on and off-site. As our Office Support Lead and Health & Safety Officer, she oversees key responsibilities in our daily operations as well as risk assessments, training, and site inspections.

Scheduler & Service Co-Ordinator
Cherie is a key part of the Plumbuilt team, helping keep schedules running smoothly and ensuring excellent coordination across our services. She loves the fast-paced nature of her role and enjoys getting to know the awesome people she works alongside every day.
One of the things Cherie appreciates most about Plumbuilt is the positive culture and the way the company goes the extra mile to make staff feel valued and supported.
Outside of work, Cherie enjoys spending time with family, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and heading off on adventures whenever she gets the chance.

Taryn Hillermann
Accounts Officer
With over 20 years accounting experience, Taryn is the accounts officer for Plumbuilt's Auckland office. Taryn has a background in financial accounting and is currently studying for her CMGA.
